Lorain County Community College will host its first Press Day on April 26 at the College Center.

The event, featuring journalists from are newspapers, radio and TV stations, will run from at 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The Press Day includes two panel discussions: one by prominent editors and reporters and the second by former LCCC graduates who have found careers in the news media.

Another highlight is a tour of LCCC’s TV studio, Boom Radio and The Collegian. A free pizza lunch is included.

The Press Day is free and open to students, staff, faculty and the public. However, advance registration is suggested. Please contact Student Life at 440-366-4036.
