Lorain County Community College offers many student worker positions on campus.
Students that work at LCCC find that it’s very convenient and works around their class schedule.
“It’s definitely more convenient than
having a job outside of the college,” said student worker, Hannah Vitale, who works in the Elyria Public Library branch on campus. “All of the staff are really mindful
of exam times and finals coming up.” All of the different divisions and offices at LCCC have student employees.
“It’s an amazing opportunity, my organization skills have improved,” said Alex Moen,
president of the Student Senate.
The career services office is located in the Library and Community Resource Center and helps students get jobs on campus and build their resumes. “It’s really convenient working on campus,” said Mary Plumley,
student worker at Commodore Books and More.
“I really like it because they work around my schedule,” Plumley said.
