Weather conditions did not stop Lorain County Community College’s cross-country team from competing and placing in the All Ohio Cross Country Championship meet on Oct. 3 at Cedarville University.
LCCC along with 42 other college teams including Cedarville, Bowling Green, Cleveland State and Ohio University competed at the annual event and placed 38th out of 43 teams for the men’s, and 40th out of 42 for the women’s.
Due to the threat of severe storms, the open races and varsity events were combined. LCCC was the only junior college to compete at the meet. This was also the first meet of the season where LCCC had a complete women’s team compete.
