The LCCC Theatre department is holding auditions for the fall production of Rabbit Hole, directed by Lisa Ortenzi. Open auditions are Sunday, Sept. 14th from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and then Monday, Sept. 15 from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. at the Stocker Center. Students are asked to stay the entirety of the audition and to make sure they come prepared. Prospective actors should wear comfortable clothes and also familiarize themselves with the script before their audition.
Rabbit Hole is the winner of the 2007 Pulitzer Prize for drama, written by David Lindsay-Abaire. Rabbit Hole is a drama that follows two distraught parents after the loss of their four year old son in a car accident. The story follows how the two, surrounded by family, deal with grief and going on with life after their son’s untimely death.
Students should be aware that the call back date after the audition is Wednesday, Sept. 17 from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. The production itself runs from Thursday, Nov. 20 through Saturday, Nov. 22. Curtain opens at 8:00 each night of the performance. Rehearsals commence October 5th and run Sun-Fri, with no rehearsals on Tuesdays. All rehearsals will be held at the LCCC Studio Theatre.
