The 11th annual Zero-Proof Mix-off took over the College Commons Dec. 6 to showcase alcohol-free drinks for the holiday season. The event, sponsored by Lorain County Safe Community Coalition, the Ohio Department of Public Safety and LCCC, offered the community the chance to enjoy music and free drinks without any alcohol. The event raises awareness of the danger of impaired driving and the impact it has during the holiday season. It also allowed LCCC students the chance to relax as they finished up the last week of classes before finals. Representatives from Starbucks, the Student Senate, Constellation Schools and other organizations brought their best drink recipes for attendees to sample.
