On Feb. 8  Professor Harry Kestler and his team of school research  assistants presented their findings at the Student Life meeting.

Kestler, professor of microbiology and avid HIV Researcher, and the small group of early college students provided details of a genetic mutation that is present in some humans that makes them completely immune to HIV.
The presentation revealed 50 people on campus were tested for the mutation; results were not told.

Kestler and his group are scheduled to present their overall findings on the study at a convention for the American Association For the Advancement of Science, Feb. 16-18 in Vancouver, Canada.
