The Commodores won against the Ohio State University Club at home Jan. 28 with a score of 89-56.

At the start of the game, there was a 9-2 run and it only went uphill from there. The Commodores managed to keep the lead the whole game, as they did in the past two games. Coach Mike Cruz, who wanted to see regular improvement, pushed the team hard giving their full potential. “We did a real good job of bringing a lot of effort to that side (offense) of the ball today and it showed,” said Cruz.

Jacob Pope finished with a double-double scoring 34 points, 16 rebounds, two assists and one steal. The next game will be at home versus Butler County Community College Feb. 1 at 7 p.m.
